Il progettista, Sergio Artico (in arte “The Boss”), ha voluto creare una canna da popping in grado di domare le fughe dei GT ma che al contempo facesse divertire il pescatore. Il risultato sono questi due prodotti: La Popping GT Medium e la Popping GT Monster.<br />Ma andiamo per gradi...</p> <p>Nella pesca dei GT il mercato ci ha abituati ad utilizzare canne da popping generiche, canne che vanno bene per fare un po' tutto ma che poi nella sostanza non vanno benissimo quando si scontrano contro i Giant Trevally (Caranx Ignobilis). Il carangide in questione può arrivare ad 80 Kg e tira come una “locomotiva”, di conseguenza serve una canna dedicata al “carattere” di questo pesce e non una canna da popping “qualsiasi” riadattata per la pesca dei GT. La maggior parte delle Case costruttrici, infatti, sviluppa canne da popping che necessariamente devono accontentare le esigenze di vari mercati e che quindi devono andare bene per americani, esquimesi, africani ecc. Nel fare questo, nel cercare di accontentare tutte le esigenze di tutti i pescatori di tutti questi paesi, le canne che ne derivano sono il frutto di innumerevoli compromessi tecnici, di compromessi nei materiali, di compromessi nella componentistica ecc ecc. In sostanza le canne da popping che poi troviamo nei negozi non sono veramente sviluppate per i GT, ma sono sostanzialmente i fusti da popping più potenti e robusti che la Casa ha in gamma... e queste canne potrebbero anche andare bene per i GT... ma non saranno mai canne specifiche per GT.</p> <p>The Boss GT Popping di Artico<br />1) The Boss GT Popping è realizzata con il miglior carbonio alto modulo al mondo, direttamente dai circuiti di Formula 1 questa canna viene assemblata esclusivamente con Carbonio PrePreg Ferrari. <strong>XANTU.LAYR </strong>Nella serie The Boss VS per la prima volta viene inserito nel V.AR.AM, il sistema produttivo utilizzato nella lavorazione degli unidirezionali di carbonio statificati, una fibra completamente innovativa: lo XANTU.LAYR (Continuos nanofibre performance composites). Questa è una esclusiva membrana stratificata che agisce come rinforzo migliorando le prestazioni del carbonio composito. Nello specifico mira ad eliminare le criticità e le debolezze della fibra, migliorandone la resistenza alla delaminazione ed aumentando la resistenza all'impatto. Forti di questa fibra rivoluzionaria, da oggi le canne Artico saranno ancora più resistenti e performanti.<br />2) Il fusto della The Boss GT Popping è realizzato a mano nei laboratori Artico (a Pordenone), è una canna artigianale curata in ogni minimo particolare e incarna tutto il meglio dell'eccellenza Made in Italy<br />3) La componentistica è la migliore del mercato, The Boss GT Popping può essere montata con quattro tipi di anelli per consentire al pescatore di scegliere il modello più idoneo al mulinello che userà in pesca. Tutti gli anelli sono rigorosamente Fuji e le pietre interne vanno dalle più economiche BNOG alle più robuste SiC. Il manico è ALPS, quello Pat Pending (omolagato), per i mulinelli a bobina fissa di qualsiasi dimensione.<br />4) The Boss GT Popping è una canna sviluppata solo per il popping tropicale al GT e nessun compromesso su tecnologia, materiali e componentistica è stato accettato. Questa è una canna che va bene solo per pescare a popping i mostri tropicali.<br />5) The Boss GT Popping è una canna che non viene prodotta in serie ma solo su richiesta e quindi ad Artico non interessa venderla a tutto il mondo ma solo a chi fa la pesca dei GT. Ha infatti prodotto due modelli una GT Medium con Max drag 60 lbs 8-10 PE e una GT Monster con Max drag 70 lbs 10-12 PE.<br />6) The Boss GT Popping è una canna specializzata e come con una macchina da formula 1 non puoi girarci in città, non puoi farci fuoristrada, non puoi metterci la spesa nel baule, non puoi portarci a spasso la famiglia, non puoi fare nient'altro che quello per cui è stata progettata... The Boss GT Popping è stata progettata pescare i GT. Non è una canna semplice da usare perché: tutti sono capaci di guidare una utilitaria, solo alcuni possono guidare una Ferrari da strada ma in pochissimi riescono a guidare una Ferrari da Formula 1 in pista. The Boss GT Popping è una macchina da Formula 1: quando tiri lei tira, quando pompi lei pompa, quando forzi lei spinge, quando sbagli: ti schianti... perdi il pesce. <p>La nuova Favorite Creed SW è stata voluta proprio da voi. Vi abbiamo ascoltato, l’abbiamo progettata, prodotta e testata per realizzare un prodotto finale adatto alla pesca in mare sia da riva che dalla barca utilizzando un’ampio range di esche, dalle soft bait medio leggere, agli hard bait di vario tipo (jerk, long jerk, minnow e popper) fino a casting jig medio pesanti fino a 60/80gr. Creed SW nasce dal successo della serie Creed già utilizzata da migliaia di pescatori in tutta Europa. E’ realizzata con fusto in carbonio alto modulo 40T con azione fast molto pronunciata. Una fibra di qualità assoluta, in grado di garantire performance di resistenza e sensibilità uniche, assicurando al tempo stesso una incredibile leggerezza. Il sistema MLS Multi Layer Structure Slim, grazie alla combinazioni di strati di carbonio di diversi moduli, permette di ottenere un fusto estremamente sottile. La lunga cima (con innesto Offset) è totalmente rinforzata con tape di carbonio intrecciato (FX GRIP) per assicurare una ineguagliabile riserva di potenza. Il risultato finale è una serie di canne estremamente leggere, ultra rapide ma al tempo stesso sensibili, in grado di gestire si soft bait che hard bait e di garantire una incredibile riserva di potenza per sostenere combattimenti con prede di taglia o particolarmente reattive. L’impugnatura delle Creed SW è realizzata con EVA ad alta densità, resistente all’usura con grip performante per garantire una presa perfetta anche se bagnato. Il diametro dell’impugnatura è stato espressamente sviluppato per garantire la presa perfetta della canna. La lunghezza del manico è stata progettata per garantire la migliore azione di pesca, soprattutto quando è necessario animare l’esca in acqua con ripetute jerkate. Il particolare taglio svasato della parte inferiore dell’impugnatura, con superficie piatta, assicura il perfetto posizionamento della canna sull’avambraccio durante la fase di combattimento del pesce. Il porta mulinello a vite ultra inforzato è del modello con chiusura “a salire” per garantire il perfetto posizionamento del mulinello sulla canna e la distanza ideale dal primo anello per assicurare la perfetta fuoriuscita del filo. Gli anelli della Creed SW sono con telaio in alluminio satinato con profilo K, con pietra SIC ultra sottile. Questo tipo di pietra è stato introdotto di recente da Favorite su tutte le canne di moderna generazione. Assicura la perfetta resistenza dell’anello al surriscaldamento generato dallo scorrimento dei fili trecciati, migliori performance di lancio ed un totale alleggerimento del peso della canna. Il primo anello della canna più leggera delle serie (la 10/30gr.) è a ponte singolo mentre tutti gli altri modelli presentano un primo anello a ponte doppio. Tutte le canna della serie Creed SW, come già accaduto in precedenza con la fortunata serie X1 Offset, sono state prodotto in esclusiva per il mercato Italiano.</p> <p><strong>La Creed SW – Speciale Alletterati</strong> è realizzata con fusto in carbonio alto modulo Toray 40Ton con azione fast molto pronunciata. Il diametro dell’impugnatura è stato espressamente sviluppato per garantire la presa perfetta della canna. La lunghezza del manico (67cm.) è superiore rispetto alla lunghezza del manico della collezione standard per garantire la presa perfetta in fase di lancio ma soprattutto il massimo confort per combattere al meglio ogni tipo di preda.Abbiamo apportato una modifica anche al porta mulinello della Creed SW – Speciale Alletterati, scegliendo un modello rinforzato che permettesse di alloggiare facilmente mulinelli di taglia. La doppia ghiera di sicurezza garantisce il perfetto posizionamento del mulinello durante lunghe sessioni di pesca o durante rapidi spostamenti in barca. Gli anelli della Creed SW – Speciale Alletterati sono con telaio in alluminio satinato con profilo K, con pietra SIC ultra sottile. Questo tipo di pietra è stato introdotto di recente da Favorite su tutte le canne di moderna generazione. <p>Shooter Bluefin Favorite, con un occhio sempre attento alle tecniche di pesca più popolari nei vari mercati Europei, non poteva tralasciare un progetto specifico per la pesca a spinning d’altura a caccia di Tonni Rossi di taglia nel Mediterraneo. Una delle tendenze che noi di Old Captain, tra i primi in Europa, abbiamo abbracciato e lanciato ormai parecchi anni fa grazie alla crescente presenza di questi esemplari ormai consolidatasi negli anni. La nuova Favorite Shooter Bluefin nasce proprio al largo delle coste di Ancona, grazie alla collaborazione con Diego Bedetti, pluri Campione Italiano, con cui la nostra azienda collabora sin dai primi anni in cui abbiamo deciso di lanciare sul mercato i primi prodotti specifici per questa tecnica. Per la realizzazione della Favorite Shooter Bluefin siamo partiti da un fusto che da sempre è sinonimo, nella collazione Favorite, di potenza, leggerezza ed affidabilità. Abbiamo utilizzato un fusto Shooter realizzato in carbonio alto modulo SkyFlex 40Ton realizzato con il sistema esclusivo MLS Multi Layer Structure una combinazione di strati di carbonio di differenti moduli intrecciati in diverse direzioni. MLS ci permette di realizzare un fusto con l’azione desiderata mantenendo un diametro contenuto, un’incredibile leggerezza ed un’ineguagliabile resistenza nel tempo. Il fusto delle Favorite Shooter Bluefin è rinforzato nei punti di maggior sollecitazione con fibre di carbonio intrecciate ad X che aumentano la potenza della canna in fast di combattimento mantenendone una spiccata azione di punta. Le Favorite Shooter Bluefin sono accessoriate con anelli SeaGuide HERO Hi-grade con telaio in acciaio inossidabile Marine Grade SS316 che assicurano la perfetta resistenza alla salsedine anche in caso di utilizzo molto intenso. La pietra interna in Zirconio assicura il perfetto scorrimento del tracciato negli anelli garantendo la perfetta dispersione del calore. Una serie di anelli dalle prestazioni superiori sviluppata da SeaGuide specificatamente per le canne destinate a pesche molto attive. Abbiamo accuratamente selezionato questo modello di anelli dal particolare profilo inclinato (Reverse Deep). Un profilo anti tangle molto più performante, meno ingombrante e quindi molto più leggero rispetto agli anelli anti tangle tradizionali. Un nota tecnica che farà sicuramente la differenza in acqua permettendo migliori performance di lancio su una canna molto più leggera. Un look aggressivo che distingue le nuove Favorite Shooter Bluefin da ogni altra canna da spinning al Tonno. Nota di rilievo sul puntale, anch’esso con pietra in Zirconio ultra resistente. Anche per il puntale abbiamo deciso di differenziarci optando per un profilo particolare (Higher Ring Frame) sviluppato da SeaGuide per i puntali destinati alle canne per la pesca dalla barca. La pietra molto esposta in punta assicura il minimo attrito del tracciato in entrata, soprattutto durante le fasi di combattimento molto intenso, preservandone quindi l’usura ed il surriscaldamento che possono irrimediabilmente danneggiare sia il filo che il puntale. Una nota tecnica che evidenzia l’estrema attenzione posta nella progettazione delle nuove Favorite Shooter Bluefin. Il porta mulinello della Favorite Shooter Bluefin è della serie Fuji, con doppia ghiera di chiusura che assicura il perfetto alloggiamento del mulinello. Anche la lunghezza dell’impugnatura, realizzata in solido EVA, è stata attentamente progettata per assicurare le migliori prestazioni di lancio ed una presa solida e sicura in fase di combattimento, anche grazie al tappo con crociera sul fondo. La Favorite Shooter Bluefin è una canna dalla prestazioni superiori, progettata per la pesca nel Mediterraneo da pescatori del Mediterraneo. Una canna leggerissima, potente ed affidabile ideale per lunghe sessioni di pesca a caccia di gabbiani e dei loro inseparabili Tonni.
